How large are tour groups?

Small groups typically have 12 to 16 people and larger groups typically number 30 to 40 people.

How much spending money should I allow for?

Spending money and travel expenses vary according to the trip and the country you visit. We provide you with a full dossier about your trip, including currency, language, allowances, additional expenses, clothing etc. We also provide regular updates leading up to departure.

Is travel insurance compulsory?

Yes. When travelling in a group we have to assume responsibility for every person and manage every contingency. Travel insurance also protects you against events such as illness and loss of luggage.

Do I need to know any languages?

Being able to speak different languages is always useful when travelling, but not necessary for our tours. We employ local guides with good English speaking skills to accompany us in foreign countries.

How fit do I need to be?

Comprehensive information is provided for each tour outlining fitness considerations very carefully. We are able to tailor tours to different fitness levels, but a certain level of fitness must be attained for group trips.

What passports and visas will I need?

If required, we will advise you of the cost of obtaining a Visa with all the trip notes if you are joining a group, or at the time of booking your individual travel.
